Set of breathing tubes used during a surgery involving anesthetics.
Tubes are placed down the patient’s throat after they’re asleep to make sure that oxygen gets to their lungs. They can also be used to protect the patient’s lungs from gastric aspiration. While these tubes have been dated over a span of 50 years, it is likely that the metal tubes are dated closer to 1920, while the plastic or rubber tubes could be dated to the 1950s.
